poor

So let me get this straight
What part of “nothing” don’t you understand?
I have no money, no car
Living from paycheck to paycheck
My kids and my dog are the only things I’ve got
Family – big family
We all stick together
Did I tell you I can eat for a week on $5?
That’s more than one of you probably spends
On lattes a day
You may not understand this
But poor people stick together
We don’t have no country club
Our “old boys club” meets at the bar
And for what it’s worth
We don’t look to you to help us out
We hold each other up
